Zone boundaries

The problem I experience in my game is that level 1 players immediately go to the back of the zone, and get one shotted by high level mobs. Then they complain that the game is too hard. Perhaps there could be a feature where you section off parts of the zone depending on the levels?

I use walls to section off the monster zones to avoid this problem. It also helps with guiding the munchkins to the right locations easier when you have a road and a hole in the wall. A tower will also help.
The other option is to add a guard there if you don’t want to upset your aesthetics.

But yes LJ I’d recommend do what SM said, although at the same time you want some open battles zones for realism, so it’s kind of difficult to specify what to do with the AI

I wish I could put up a big sign that says:
LEVEL 3s ONLY!!! ALL OTHERS WILL DIE PAINFULLY!!! VERY VERY PAINFULLY!!!
