Suggestions for new types of quests.

Hello, sorry my english level is really bad, so I used a translator.

I spend a lot of time on the game (I love it) and I think it would be interesting to be able to assign quests on scenery objects for example with a barrel, or with the mill. This could create more interactions for quests that are limited with an interaction with an NPC, a modular building, stores or kill monsters.
I had another idea for the quests, to be able to make search areas where players will have to search an area for a certain amount of time (that could be chosen with a min and max time to make a kind of randomness), and as read in other posts where there could be hidden areas that could be discovered by players who wander by, they could then tell other players where to search for example.

Hi @Drims, thanks so much for your post and welcome to the community! I like these suggestions a lot, thanks so much for taking the time to write about them. I’ll log them for our feedback document and make sure they’re passed on to the team!

Thats a pretty cool idea, having them be in a area for a certain time to complete the quest. It could simulate like defend the house for a certain time, it would go well if you could make wave monsters zones. Which is a monster zone that spawns n monsters, sends its to a location. And spawns a new wave once the last once dies.

I also thought of having a Escort quest giver. Once players accepts the quest, the quest giver moves through the player traced route. Once he reaches there, everyone around him completes the quest. And players can get the quest midway.

Collect quest givers. Another noncombat quest idea where you assign a area, and players must interact with N plant/rock doodads in the area to complete the quest.

Elite quests: quests that motivate players to group up before attempting it.

Help this guy first, quest. Basically a attunement quest. You point to another quest giver, and the player must complete the entire quest giver chain before they complete the “help this guy first” quest. Which then allows them to get the next quest from that quest giver
