Ideas for Combat

So when designing a mob zone an idea I had was to customize mob aggro or amount of mobs vs a single “player” at a time. So if a solo party is fighting in a zone, you can set it to 1, 2, 3, or 4 mobs aggro (attack) a player at a time, and then +1 for every party member. So if the base amount is 2 and you have 4 party members it would be 5 mobs in total.

I like this but what use does it really provide? I can see it confusing the AI a lot, but other than sometimes makes party battles a lot more difficult I don’t think it would be that beneficial, I could probably see a party battle feature where parties can fight each other, but as it is monsters usually can go head to head with a party and survive with a little while.
